Over a third of all UK carbon emissions are generated in the home so the increased use of renewable energy is becoming more and more important.
The Government has recognised the importance of home energy efficiency and as such have introduced the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This will form an integral part of the Home Information Packs that are required for every house bought and sold in England and Wales.
By using renewable energy products to provide all or some of the energy used in a home can dramatically reduce carbon emissions and perhaps more importantly for the homeowner, reduce energy bills.
